Becky Morales

Becky Morales has 27 years of varied experience in Multilingual Education. She began as a college student, volunteering to teach English at a center for migrant workers, and continued her career teaching at both public and private high schools, leading night classes at community colleges and resource centers, teaching EL in the corporate sector, and teaching abroad in London and Mexico. As an EL teacher outside Chicago at a large public high school, and as a co-founder of the Multilingual Student Summit (2023), she works to empower students to use their voices to tell their stories. Becky enjoys connecting with educators around the country while providing professional development in districts, and actively participating and leading groups on social media. Her first book, The Global Education Toolkit for Elementary Learners, was published in 2014 by Corwin Publishing.
